Vintage 1953 General Electric model542 Bakelite Tube Radio Alarm clock in Brooksville, Florida For Sale

This GE Alarm Clock AM Radio Model 542, tube radio is from around xxxx. Howard Danish Eames era~ no cracks in Catlin bakelite cabinet, does have light scuffs and scratches. Beautiful marble color of deep red with some black tones. Material Modern plastics (Bakelite or Catalin) Measures almost 11" long by a tad more than 5" deep and sits about 6" tall. This radio did power on but we have leaky electric lines near our home so radio stations do not tune in too well. This radio might hold a signal, but not sure- may need minor repair or adjustment. Plug is fine, long outlet cord is a little harden and stiff, typical for age. I am not sure if and/or how clock works. The alarm worked when I turned it to its current time, but not sure how well this clock radio keeps time.
