I have been a breeder for 30+ years. My Dogs are treated as family, not kept caged. Yes, we are the home of the pampered pet.( I am at home most of the time, giving them alot of attention & kept in a clean enviroment )
Puppies are born in my home, The first 4 weeks they stay in my family room, exposed to all the household sounds , we give them alot of early inter action with the household family members. they are handled many times a day. Loved on, hugged, played with. ( our puppies are sweet, like to have and show affection, they hug and give lil baby kisses. They are happy and well adjusted )
The next four weeks they begin to experience out doors alittle at a time. Each week they spend alittle more time out doors, Exposed to being on a lawn( starting house breaking ) Enjoying out door excersize( playing with toys), freash air and sunshine. They are inside at night.
My dogs all eat Iams ProActive Health for Large breed dogs. Dame is started on Iams Smart Puppy ProActive health for large breed Puppys when she is bred, this provides extra nutrition while puppies are growing inside momma.
